BANDANA TREND

Hi guys :) Thank you so much for those of you that have been following along with my blog! I seriously appreciate all of the feedback :) I thought I would share some really affordable options if you wanted to try out this trend. I got the blush silky one from Forever 21 and I posted the exact one (which is only $4!!) below. I usually don't wear a lot of "pink" so it was a nice way to add some pink tones without being too over the top. The blue one is from Target and I couldn't find it to link it, but every time I go to a Target I see it in the scarves section and it is only $5.99. The last one is just a basic bandana you would buy in the craft store and I got it from Fred Meyer for like $2, but check Michaels or JoAnn's. Anyways, you can tie them like I did, wear them around your neck like a choker tied in the back, in your hair, on the strap of your purse, or like an actual bandana around your neck. Hope you guys enjoyed this :)

Here is how I styled mine:

DIY Easy denim tie up choker

Hey guys! So, I pinned this picture a while ago on Pinterest of this girl with an off the shoulder embroidered top and a tie up choker (bottom photo) and it inspired me to make one for myself (top photo). I got the faux suede cording from the dollar section at Target months ago...like possibly last summer, and I knew I wanted to use it to make a necklace, but I totally forgot about it. The denim I chose was from an old pair of black skinny jeans that were in a goodwill bag. I think this would also be really cute with lightwash denim and a camel or tan colored suede tie (if you guys end up making one send me a pic!).

JACKETS IN MARCH?

Jackets are probably my favorite piece of clothing to buy. Where I live, you need some sort of jacket pretty much 9 months out of the year--which is probably why I love them so much. I try to stick to neutral colors and classic styles when buying jackets. Another tip is to focus on the quality of the hardware. Obviously, you can spend a lot of money on a fancy designer jacket and have it look really nice, but not everyone can afford that! I have learned to stay away from "cheap" hardware, which usually is the case with really shiny gold/silver buckles and clasps or cheap looking buttons.

I wanted to show you guys a few of my favorite jackets that you have probably seen on my Instagram and show you a bunch of affordable options! Some of these are just on my wish-list, but I seriously love putting together outfits and putting things in my online shopping cart and not buying them (I am weird, I know) so I thought I would share them with you guys! PS the moto jacket is the Blank NYC one and the camel one I got on clearance, but I found an alternative at Boohoo. Hope you guys enjoy!

THE PERFECT LACE UP HEELS

Hi guys :) For my first post I wanted to share a little review on my new favorite heels. I am terrible at walking in heels, but I love feeling a little taller and a little more dressed up than wearing my typical flat boots. I had been eyeing these heels from Target for a few weeks and was hoping they would go on sale on the Cartwheel App., but I figured that they would sell out quickly so I decided to buy them about a week or so ago. They are seriously the most perfect lace-up heel.

I have seen so many lace-up booties like this, but they all look a little cheap. These look so well-made and have the perfect sturdy heel that even a rookie like me can walk in them. They are only $37.99 and I promise you NEED them! I wanted to include a few different outfits that I styled them with. I hope you enjoy and go buy them right now! Because I do buy a lot of my stuff on sale I can't always find exact items, but I found alternatives that are affordable and will give you similar looks to the outfits I am wearing :)

Click the arrow on the widget down below to scroll my outfit alternatives and find the shoes :) ! I also have them on my "Love List" at the top of my page :)
